About James: James Umpherson is the Managing Director of Integrated Economic Solutions Inc(IES). IES conducts research and delivers workshops to entrepreneurs, businesses, and economic development agencies in the areas of business start-up, development, growth, and diversification, policy development, and capacity building modelling for communities. James has spent the last 20-years working with a diverse range of entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations, including a cross-section of local, regional, and First Nation governments, economic development agencies, and community organizations. He has delivered workshops on donations, sponsorships for business and funding strategies for not-for-profits to a wide variety of audiences. Some of his clients include local governments from the City of Calgary to Chambers of Commerce to Entrepreneurial Round Tables and Block Parent of Canada.
